Thanks guys! I welcome the mucous ejection actually...coughed a bit on waking up. Feel better all round though...the mixture packs a punch. Thing is...what is really happening I think, is that into the fourth month nerves are healing...and the throat and tonsils being riddled with them, having been clogged to a standstill for two decades..are now being activated ..causing an immune cascade of parasite killing and clearing. All welcome of course. I feel in my core deep healing....just need to get past the screaming throat...which should be soon. Even my middle back feels better....a problem I didn't consciously know or remember I had. I rest my case ...IBT wins.

4 months is the golden mile for nerve regeneration. Certainly observed in both spinal cord injury and multiple sclerosis. Ronald Meyer's experiments with the severed optic nerve of fish, frog, mouse, rat and rabbit confirmed it took 4 months for the nerve to regenerate in fish and frog. No regeneration occurred in mammals. Fish and frog are always upright :)

Glad you on the mend

I hope this is what explains why my shoulder is going crazy - needing paracetamol every day now. Don't really want to try any liver flushes and just gonna ride through it, but as I cannot think of anything I have done, I can only put it down to what you guys are saying, nerve regeneration and herxheimer effect...does indeed feel somewhat "electrical" nerve type pain. Thinking about it, its a reappearance of an old body building injury I had about ten years ago :(

I have been doing IBT since end of April technically but only since July at full 5 degree angle, so it does indeed hit 6 months for me. Will keep at it as I get best sleep ever had in years.

Yes it's usually old injury sites that do that. There is a simple way to rule out liver spasming though....a tablespoon of Epsoms 2 hours before dinner! If there is even the slightest relief...then it's the liver. If no effect then it's old nerves repairing. I also have electrical type needle pain in my right jaw bone....old injury from Primary school...probably contributed to the tonsil issue as well as my right tonsil has always been larger than the left one. The herbs and supplements or whatever are just mitigation...we could just remain inclined and get on with life I reckon, and the result would be the same.

Thanks I might try that Ozone if I can get paste that terrible taste!
Would that much cause me diarrhea you think? May not be able to stomach it anyway because it really is far worse than the bitterness of sulphur (bad enough), in my memories of ten years ago at least.

You can put some powdered Vitamin C in it or your mouth to help the taste...also helps if you hold your nose whilst drinking. Unfortunately it is enough to trigger a bit of mild diarrhoea, small price for the info you will be getting. The magnesium sulphate relaxes the bile ducts enough to make that difference. Valerian herb also relaxes the bile ducts but the smell is even worse in my opinion...and I don't know a dose that would relieve spasming. Your intuition of the old injury is probably correct though...hope you get through it soon. As they say...if you are going through hell...keep going!!

Speaking about nerve regeneration....one of the most interesting bits of research in that area was done by DrRobert Becker the osteopath. He managed to regrow limbs in frogs using direct current stimulation...after realizing that the body had a similar mechanism. His book TheBodyElectric outlines this. Interesting to tie that up with what Andrew mentions. Someone who knew Becker personally...told me though, that the doctor managed to regrow a human finger, complete with bones!! He died broken, bankrupt, and bitter, DrBecker, after they pulled the plug on his work though.
